All Souls Holy Week Schedule

We will seek to live into our vision by:

centering our worship in the Bible and Communion and expressing our praise and thanksgiving in a variety of worship and musical styles.
receiving newcomers into a seeker-sensitive environment and seeking to share the evangel through a seeker-sensitive practice of the liturgy
making prayer central to every aspect of the life of the church
shaping architecture to the demands of the liturgy and to the need of all people for a safe, inviting space for worship.
creating a safe and inviting space for children and youth, where they are valued and free to express themselves and to enrich the community with their unique experience of God.
valuing and honoring difference and conflict as ways to stronger community and to greater intimacy and unity in Christ.
strengthening the bonds of relationships through enjoying community together--eating, playing, and building pauses and rests into the church's life.
supporting and enhancing spiritual growth through retreats, teaching spiritual disciplines, offering educational opportunities, and conducting prayer groups.
engaging in ongoing strategic planning that responds to the changing community and the changing shape of the life of the church.
devoting at least 20% of our church's pledged gifts to mission and outreach causes
sponsoring or joining with others in the sponsoring of a new church within seven years of our beginning.
confronting the injustices in our culture and seeking to teach God's ways of justice and freedom to those who are hurt as well as those who hurt others.
holding ourselves accountable for our mission, core values, and vision by regular periods of listening, self-examination, and seeking God's will and by returning when we discover that we have drifted off course.
