Blessing of the Animals
October 4th, Saturday at 10:00am. This year, we are going to
have the event at two locations at the same time. We will be at the
Land...complete with our 10'x10' tent. The other location will be at
Petsmart at Brook Rd next to Circuit City. Contact Lisa M for more

Church Retreat - Shrine
Mont
October 17th, Friday, through Oct 19, Sunday.
We meet at the main building starting at 5:30pm. The first event
starts at 7:00pm. This is a great way to build relationships within

Kairos Prison Ministry - Cookie Time!!!
We are again in need of cookie
makers. I would like to extend a special request for team members,
including cook team members. This experience is one you will never
forget. The weekend is from October 22nd, Wednesday, through Oct 26th,
Sunday. The teaming sessions are on Saturdays, Sep 27, Oct 11, and Oct

Pastoral Care Corner
The Virginia Institute of
Pastoral Care (VIPCare) is a state-wide coalition of churches offering a
variety of counseling services including Individual Counseling, Family
Counseling, and Group Counseling. There are numerous VIPCare centers
in the greater Richmond area. For those interested in counseling
services, appointments are made by calling 804-282-8332.
